Care-4 is a managed benefit for your employees, allowing parents to make savings on childcare costs by substituting part of their gross salary.

  • Care-4 is the UK’s premier childcare payment system, an ‘electronic voucher’ for working parents to pay approved carers efficiently and cost effectively
  • To benefit from the scheme, employees commit to regular childcare payments by means of a salary sacrifice scheme implemented via their employer’s payroll
  • The employer’s NI contribution on this amount is refunded
  • A sum equivalent to the salary sacrifice is placed in a secure Care-4 account and made available for childcare payments to designated, eligible carers without the administration hassle of paper vouchers

    Bike4work is an economical bike ownership scheme that can provide savings of up to 40%.

  • Bike4work is a salary sacrifice arrangement, whereby the employee agrees to a regular reduction from gross salary for a stipulated period
  • This amount, free of tax and National Insurance Contributions, is used to pay the employer for the use of their bicycle
  • These concessions reduce the cost to the employee by 30%-40% according to the rate of income tax applicable and their NI position
    There is also a NI saving for the employer which can either be retained or ‘recycled’ to subsidise the scheme
